The arboretum is situated in the attractive environment of the Bratislava's Koliba near the Kamzík tower and is easily accessible by visitors. Most of the woods growing in Malé Karpaty are widely represented around this land. Premises of the arboretum's visitor centre are also dedicated to the purposes of exploring and admiring surrounding nature.

The building is situated in the upper part of the land and except for restaurant - social part it also includes saloons for smaller presentations and education activities and a nice gallery with a fire place. In the summer period all of these activities may be running on the large terrace, on the playground for children or at the outdoor fire place. Of course, the arboretum also includes an educational footpath containing descriptions of woods and relax corners.
